I am a wedding, portrait and lifestyle photographer. Although I am based in London, I cover assignments all over the UK and internationally.
Photography is also my greatest hobby and I enjoy capturing light trails and street photography in London.
I studied photography at A-Level and spent many evenings learning long-exposure photography with my lovely Dad. Since then, my photography has been self-taught and is constantly inspired by such photographers as Francisco Negroni, Thomas Leong (landscapes), Jasmine Star, Jack Ladenburg, Erich McVey (portraits), Toby Harriman and Lincoln Harrison (long exposures), as well as the brilliant Elliott Erwitt.
My style of portrait photography is reportage. It is therefore unobtrusive and captures the most natural moments without awkward smiles or unnatural poses. The result is a set of natural, timeless photographs, which help you to savour and relive your event for years to come.
I try to make use of natural light wherever possible in order to create fresh, bright and colourful images.
I use a Canon 6D full frame camera and a mixture of prime and zoom lenses. My favourite lens is my 50mm fixed lens because its wide aperture allows me to shoot in a variety lighting situations whilst its lightweight nature enables me to run around taking photographs all day long! However, my other lenses are also indispensible and using them in conjunction with the nifty fifty makes my photography versatile!
